Protected by a small grove of trees on the edge of an open meacdow, this two-level home enjoys an oceanfront position less than 200 yards from the Bluff Trail (please note that it shares part of its driveway with the neighboring home). Take a five-minute walk to the dark sand of Black Point Beach, go for a morning jog on the Bluff Trail along the ocean, and spend your days swimming and practicing your serve at the Moonraker Recreation Center a quarter-mile north.
Whether you're planning a romantic getaway or a family vacation, you'll find a cozy home base at the Seacrest Beach Retreat. Sip your morning coffee outside on the deck (with a pastry from Twofish Baking three miles south), take your dog for long walks around the neighborhood, and warm up by the wood-burning fireplace when the evening fog rolls in. (Please note that a two-dog limit applies.)
Use the free WiFi to plan coastal adventures, take soothing soaks in the hot tub in the enclosed garden courtyard, and bring the two provided beach chairs down to Black Point Beach in time for sunset. Parking notes: Your check-in packet includes your Sea Ranch parking passes. The Sea Ranch Association only allows 2 passes per reservation. Parking passes are for cars parked within the Sea Ranch (at the rec centers, hiking trails etc) and must be visible in the vehicles. Most but not all of our houses will accommodate more than 2 cars. For guests with more than 2 cars, any additional car(s) can be used to go to and from the house without a pass but will need to remain in the drive way otherwise. On street parking is not permitted. Most of our house will not accommodate more than 3 cars. NO RV'S OR CAMPER VANS PERMITTED TO PARK ON SEA RANCH.

The unit was clean and the kitchen well-stocked with cooking implements. Nice blue water view and enclosed deck was great for the dogs. Close enough to walk to the bluff trail. 2 bedrooms, but only 1 bathroom, so really best for only 2 people. Second bedroom is upstairs, so not ideal for parents with toddlers. Children should be old enough to navigate stairs. Enclosed front yard with the hot tub was also nice for dogs, but was not landscaped so of limited use as a place to sit and enjoy the weather. Price was fair. I would rent this unit again.

We loved our stay in Sea Ranch. The house was beautiful and had an amazing view of the sea. Even though it rained 2 out of 3 days it was so beautiful. The hot tub and fireplace were super cozy. We even used the rec center pool which was heated enough for lap swim but not warm enough for playing around. Met some really welcoming locals at the bakery pizza night. Overall great experience. Bring your own oil and butter inly spices in the kitchen.

We enjoyed our time. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and 2 amazing Cypress trees in front. The back has an enclosed space so our doggie was safe and loved playing with her ball. Hot Tub a plus. We loved our stay at this charming SeaRanch home. From the moment you walk in the door, you smell the fireplace which adds to its cozy welcoming charm. The house comes completely stocked, you want for nothing! We did a lot of cooking in the cozy well laid out kitchen and all appliances work great. The view from back deck is incredible and only a short walk to Black Point Reach. When I read the other reviews of people who were less than pleased I was shocked, this place is great! It is not a hotel, it’s a home that the owners graciously share with the public. Wonderful place to bring your dogs! Private fenced front yard with hot tub is another plus! Not a single complaint, we will be going back in November!

This original Sea Ranch property was built in the late 1960's. That being said, it could use some updates. The biggest problem was that the heating system was not able to maintain a comfortable temperature. It took over 24 hours for the house to reach 68 degrees and that was with using the fireplace constantly. The firewood that was supplied was not seasoned wood so it was very difficult to keep a fire burning. This is a small house, approximately 1,200 square feet, but it was really difficult to keep it warm. The VACASA representative responded quickly and delivered some seasoned firewood that burned better and also supplied a space heater which helped. This house is over priced for the accommodations.

House is actually a 1bdrm 1 bath with a small attic space with low ceiling, a skylight, no windows or closets with 2 small beds perfect for kids.
Hot tub has been upgraded but unfortunately it does have the wonderful view of the ocean that the house does. Carpets have lots of stains and need cleaning

The house was perfect. The front yard is fully enclosed with a hot tub. My husband and I took our two dogs with us. There are private trails right on the bluff and the views were breathtaking. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Nice setup, good for a couple or a small family. Great view from the patio & wonderful proximity to the walking trails, cliffs, beach, & Sea Ranch Lodge. Inconvenient travel 8-10 miles north for arrival packet pickup in Gualala, but not the end of the world. Overall, good bang-for-buck.

This was our second stay at this house, and we were happy to see that the coffee maker and other amenities had been upgraded and that more towels had been supplied. However, there is still no working toaster. That said, we had another fun stay (despite the storm and resulting power outage). This particular property has close beach access and is a quick hike to the lodge for happy hour. We have enjoyed our second trip and will definitely return. 💕

This was a GREAT searanch location. You can see the ocean from the house and hear the waves crashing. The walk to the beach/shoreline trails was very short. It was also nicely stocked and had all the amenities we would need. The hot tub was really nice and was secluded. Was a great experience, I would stay here again.

Great cottage in a perfect location. It has plenty of space for two, and I think would would be fine for 4 (there are 2 bedrooms) if you don't mind sharing a bathroom. Decor is pretty typical for Sea Ranch houses: I find it very comfortable and homey. House had everything I needed, including a little welcome package from Vacasa with a few extra necessities. I loved my stay! I would stay here again and would certainly book through Vacasa again.

We loved the green tile wood burning fireplace and the location near a gorgeous beach and dramatic Black Point. The house is cozy but not too small with comfortable beds and furnishings and a nice view of the ocean. The beds upstairs are twin-size, best for children or small adults.

I recently rented this home in Sea Ranch and can't wait to go back! If you are looking for peace, beauty, and rejuvenation, this is the spot for you.
The home is very well kept and has numerous amenities to keep you comfortable. There is a private courtyard, spa, fireplace, and internet access (although I recommend staying offline in Sea Ranch!) The appliances and furniture were all in great condition and well-maintained. I actually fell asleep on the couch in front of the fireplace because it was so comfortable! The ocean-view deck, in particular, was my favorite spot to sit and watch/listen to the ocean while reading a book. The deck looked like it was newly upgraded and was the perfect place to relax at any time of day.
As the sun goes down it's time to build a fire and warm your soul with the sound of crackling logs and the warm glow of the flames.
A short walk from the home across a beautiful meadow is the Sea Ranch lodge which is a great place for breakfast, dinner, or a glass of wine at the bar. The diversity of people you will chat with while there is amazing!
Sea Ranch is truly a special place that I encourage all of my family, colleagues, and friends to visit and enjoy as often as possible!

Seacrest is just ok. It is the smallest (of many) homes we have rented at SeaRanch.
It has one bathroom, inconvenient for the guest on the second level.
The house is starting to show its age.
A plus: it is a short walk to Black Point Beach.
For the money, not a great deal.

Such a relaxing week with gorgeous blue ocean views from the main living room & kitchen. A deck is right off the main part of the house where we spent hours enjoying drinks, cards and just hanging out while watching the ocean, deer, bunnies (and even some whales!) The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything to make lots of delicious meals. A short path through the meadow leads to the trail on the bluff where we spent many hours walking with our dog. The house itself is rather small but was very comfortable and perfect for my family of four to hang out in front of the huge fireplace. With one bathroom it would probably be tight for more people, but for us it was fine.
