We loved the cabin not far from town, with wonderful Mountain Views! Enjoyed celebrating our daughter’s 11th birthday. Great place to stay to visit several landmarks.

The property is very remote while being easy to access. It's conveniently located (within 10 min) of Woodland Park. We had a great time. The house is solid but could be better:
- $500/night in the shoulder season is pretty steep.
- The entire place was fully functioning but everything was 15+ yrs old & it showed.
- Just put together a 1 pager that explains how to cook on the induction cooktop & throw out the non-induction pans!
- Spend $500 and get more towels, cups, better pillows, better/more extra blankets.

We loved our stay at Mills Ranch! Picturesque view of Pike's Peak, serene and peaceful location. Perfect getaway for quiet and seclusion. The wildlife was beautiful and plentiful. Very clean and well equipped. Only suggestion is more screened windows, other than that, perfect.

Nice comfortable home. Addressing a few items would make this a clear five star.
First, there is NOT 24/7 support as posted. You can get a rep on the phone but actually getting support in the home is a different story. We had an issue with the router and finally fixed it ourselves (no electrical power to adjacent wall) by finding a few extension cords in the house and finding an outlet with power. Made two calls to Vacasa and got the "will let local team know" response.
Second, the kitchen was a miss. While the posting said limited items provided, I was disappointed at how little was provided, both pantry items and kitchen items. Been renting "VRBO" type homes for years and this one was not at my expectation. For example, we had ONE drinking glass and No measuring items for food prep. The cabinets were jammed with items but most needed a good cleaning before they could be used.
I hope Vacasa addresses these issues and bring this home up to a Five star!

We had a great family vacation and this property was a big contributor to that. It is a beautiful property and home. The views are beautiful. Wildlife is fun to watch. Located to have privacy and views yet close enough to town and a grocery store and other handy things. The rental process was simple and so was the check in and out process. No surprises with that process or costs. We enjoyed the pool table, gas fire pit, and hot tub in addition to the other things mentioned.

Absolutely beautiful house and property- however it was poorly supplied with tableware, soaps and cooking utensils. Was very difficult to prepare meals for our family due lack of supplies. Barely 6 coffee mugs, no water glasses to use for water or hydration. We ended up going to McDonald's and bringing the drink glasses home to use for 4 days. Instructions said to start washing towels and run dishwasher before leaving, there was absolutely no laundry or dishwasher soap. I think other than these missing comforts, this house was paradise.

The view from this mountain cabin is breathtaking. Our family had a wonderful vacation here. It's located within easy driving distance of Pike's Peak, Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs, Royal Gorge, and Cripple Creek Gold Mines. However, we were disappointed that there were some dirty spots on the floors and the master bathroom rugs were visibly dirty. We were unable to use the hot tub because it had particles floating in the water. Overall, these things did not deter greatly from our experience and we had a wonderful time.

we loved the home. It was comfortable, cozy and well located. A couple things need attention. The bathtub downstairs backed up some dirty brown water so it was unusable, and there was not enough silverware. We thought the cleaning could have been more thorough, the bbq was not clean
But we would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

The setting of this home is spectacular and the photos are spot-on for the property. It's gorgeous. That being said...I don't know if this is the owner's problem or Vacasa, but basic maintenance is NOT being done to keep this home in good shape. And whatever the owner is paying Vacasa...you are being robbed. They are not properly managing your home or taking care of your renters. After arriving and receiving our welcome text, I asked if a few issues we saw immediately could be texted and the response was yes. These specific issues were shared on Day 1 and Day 2 of our 7 day stay...1) the screen on the door to the deck was ripped and flapping in the wind (wanted to make sure they knew we didn't do it), 2) the outdoor banister on the deck is very loose, so much so that if an adult leans on it with full weight it will most likely break away, 3) all but the main room windows have no screens (and a few days of our stay were in the 70's so windows were left open with no screens because there was nothing else we could do to get fresh air), 4) one of the end chairs with the kitchen table is so wobbly no one could sit on it, 5) the television at first was not working (we solved that problem on our own), 6) the main floor bathroom off the kitchen needed new light bulbs as they weren't working at all so it was not used after dark because it was too dark to see in there, and 7) the only table outside on the deck has a leg that needs screws so it's stable again. Even with follow up texts and a phone call, ZERO of these issues were addressed in the seven days we were there. I was told by Kim at Vacasa (she was based in Oregon) that there is a ticket system to have things taken care of...she could pull up tickets based on my texts but the "team" in Colorado needed to take care of the issues. No "team" ever contacted us or came to take care of even changing the light bulbs...and when paying $500/night for a home, I don't believe it's my responsibility to purchase and replace the bulbs. So disappointing. Lastly...for the homeowner's information because I didn't bother sharing anymore issues knowing no one cared...1) we didn't use your piano, but when I went to sit on the bench to help my son put his shoes on, it nearly fell over...someone broke one of the legs and 2) an instruction sheet on how to use an induction range would be very helpful. We had to google how to use one and then discovered that there was only one pot big enough to boil water and only one small fry pan in the cabinet that could actually be USED with an induction range. I had to go to the store to buy an induction pan that was big enough to cook for our family of six. Why have really old pots and pans in the cabinet that can't actually be used with an induction range? Made no sense to us. We are regular VRBO users, and this property by far had the most issues. Very disappointing.

This home was so spacious and comfortable with spectacular views. Waking up every morning to a gorgeous view of Pike's Peak then having our coffee in the family room again with the fabulous mountain view was just amazing. This rental exceeded our expectations and we definitely want to return. The cabin is situated on beautiful property allowing for complete privacy. Highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed our vacation here, The Mills Ranch house is perfectly situated for country quiet and amazing mountain views. Lots of hiking trails close by and with the town just a few minutes away for groceries and other necessities, everything was convenient. The hot tub is the perfect place for a soak after a long day of hiking!

This home is absolutely beautiful. The property holds many hidden gems- aspen trees, deer, chipmunks and the sound of hummingbird chatter as they whiz by. The little waterfall and fire pit out back is a great place to hang out while others are in the hot tub. Just the bit of solitude one is looking for when coming from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

As soon as we all pulled up we agreed it was better than the pictures and even more privacy and space then desired. The wildlife came right up to you, the scenery was pristine and some of the best Mountain View’s we’ve ever seen ( and between the 6 of us we have visited every state). The weather was better than imagined and the home was beautifully done in cabin motif and flowed well. The only thing is we were being picky was the 2 bedrooms in the basement wished one more was upstairs and the double bed in bsmt our guest complained about but felt the Murphy bed was more comfortable so worked out greatly having an extra bed! The primary bedroom on main level had views throughout and amazing storage and bath with a little washer and dryer which worked out well! The little man-made River by the hot tub was complete zen and hearing the River by the night gas fire pit was awesome! This was surely worth the price and we will Come back to this great home! Vacasa was easy to work with and held up to our high standards, thank you for sharing your treasure we greatly appreciated it and feel well relaxed to deal with the craziness of the east coast :)

The views are amazing, but what I liked most about this place was the location. It was just far enough off the beaten path to have peace and quiet, but close enough to many different adventures. Several great towns and trails about 20-30 minutes away.

The house also had nice features (hot tub, pool table, gas fire pit and a grill) that made every moment enjoyable, even if just hanging out there. We had 10 grown adult men there, so it was tight sleeping arrangements at night, but you didn’t feel crowded one bit during the day. Plenty of space.

The cabin was great, but Vacasa increased the price by $200 right as I booked.

We live in Colorado and are always looking for cabins or houses in the mountains that have at least hot tub, which this house does and a pool table to have different activities to do. The views are amazing of pikes peak and the deer came regularly in the morning and evening to eat grass around the home. We will be using your house again sometime in the near future. Again thank you for everything.

The Good:
The cabin was very cute and everyone enjoyed the stay. Plenty to do with the pool table, hot tub, and various board games. Toiletries were well stocked. Kitchen was fully equipped. Wonderful views. Location is beautiful and deer actually came up to windows. Plenty of room through out cabin, loved the fireplace. The kids had a blast.
The Bad:
The microwave was out of order, that would have been a nice heads up prior to check-in. I did get a message in that a plumber was headed to cabin prior to check-in to work on master bathroom, however the worked on shower head was still unusable due to handle being a special order item, fortunately the master shower had 2 showerheads, so was not a big issue. The cabin could also use more thorough cleaning, quite dusty. We did not find the "private washer/dryer" until the end of the trip, it is hidden in cabinets in the master bedroom, labels or pics in listing could help out with this not getting missed. The fireplace down stairs would not start, this led to downstairs being pretty cool as heater did not heat downstairs like upstairs. The outside firepit needed a key that was hiding in kitchen drawer, but was nice once we got it going.

I did enjoy our stay here, lots of fun for the whole family. The views were beautiful and the cabin super cute.

Loved the place very well maintained/ clean, the view was absolutely stunning. Can't wait to plan another relaxing trip here.

IT IS A VERY NICE PLACE. THEIR WAS 8 OF US AND WE HAD PLENTY OF ROOM WE DIDN'T FEEL LIKE WE WERE STEPPING OVER EACH OTHER. THEY ONLY DOWNSIDE WE HAD IS THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW EARLY CHECKC IN SO WE WAITED 4 HOURS TO GET IN. THEIR WAS NO ONE THAT STAYED THEIR THE NOGHT BEOFRE SO IT WAS KNOWN THE PLACE WAS CLEAN.

Great location! House was very spacious, with a piano, pool table and jacuzzi. View was beautiful and loved being secluded, but only 10 minutes from town. Great relaxing family getaway! Held back a star for these reasons: 1) Contacted customer service via email about 5 days prior regarding santizing/cleanliness (due to COVID) but did not hear back. I suggest adding another contact to the property info, maybe a manager or owner's number, we never have an issue contacting owner directly with Airbnb. 2) Although the kitchen and bathrooms looked cleaned, we could see a bunch of dust on the valances. The entire place could be dusted a lot better, because our allergies flared up. 3) All of the mattresses were uncomfortable. Kids complained it was too hard in rooms downstairs and queen in master bedroom is a bit old. I was unsure the blankets were cleaned. Lacked blankets and queen sized comforters too. 4) There were only 3 pods of dishwasher detergents. We stayed 6 nights and had to run out to purchase more. There were only a few pods of laundry detergent also with no fabric softener, so our clothes stank after washing. Sorry for all the negatives, was only hoping to help. Other than that, the place was almost perfect for us. We even got snow and had a lot of fun. This is a place that we would consider staying again as long as it is dusted better and has better mattresses the next time around. Thank you for a pretty great vacation.

The space and the view is excellent. House has plenty of room and has all that is needed for a retreat in the mountains.

This place was perfect. It met every one our expectations. We got snow, mountains, a nice view, and the wildlife. The cabin was clean and spacious. There is plenty of space to do whatever you want. It’s close enough to everything you want to experience and far enough away to enjoy your stay. The views are perfect. The only feedback I’d give would be to update the thermostat. I had some difficulty adjusting the settings in the house to a comfortable temperature. It got so hot at night that, I’d have to crack a window. Once I did that, it was perfect. I’d definitely book this place again.

This was our first family vacation ever and I must say this beautiful cabin exceeded our expectations. The view of Pikes Peake is stunning, everything about the cabin was so welcoming, we truly felt at home!!! We can’t wait to be back next year.

As a child, in the 1940s and 50s, my family vacationed in the Green Mountain Falls area. I wanted to take my family back to show them where I spent many fun times as a child. We found this ranch, and it exceeded my expectations. I was amazed at how much Woodland Park has grown, and it provided everything we needed. The view of Pikes Peak from the living room now adorns the home screen on my iPad and iPhone. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great amenities, very comfortable. Quiet and secluded.

Beautiful home acreage, and gorgeous scenery! The cabin was very cozy, and we loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces. One of the reasons why we picked this cabin, was because of the baby-grand piano, which we ended up playing every single day of the week!

The house and view was beautiful. Very clean and felt homey. We would definitely go back.

This place is amazing. Such great views, proximity to town is good, all around great value. We will definitely be back.

Love the location, space, wildlife, entertainment with tv, pool table, hot tub and fire pit. We got to use them all. Would highly recommend!
