Being on the water was the best. We took our boat to restaurants in the area, swam off the dock, rented a paddle board for the cove. It was the perfect place for our family to get quality time. It’s a quiet neighborhood which was our style.

This place was absolutly perfect and exactly what I needed. We were a group of 8 and it was perfect. The location was great, the fishing was good, and the water was perfect. The house was clean, and the guest that stayed in the casita outside loved it as well.

This is a beautiful property! It was perfect for our belated Christmas family gathering. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean and very spacious. There was plenty of room for all of us and the Casita was perfect for our bachelor son to get away and have his own space from time to time! The deck was perfect for fishing and just sitting a visiting. The property is perfectly located to travel for groceries, dining and general supplies. Nothing was no more than a few miles from the house. We would definite stay here again! Thank you for an enjoyable weekend.

The house was really nice and updated. The smart TV's worked great for the kids. The boat house worked great for us and had no issues with our boat (older ski boat with 6ft wake tower). Not even close to running out of room. Everything in the house worked excellent. We had a great time and would not hesitate to book this property again. Thanks for the stay!!

Good location- easy access to main road. House decor was nice. Kitchen was well equipped. There were adequate towels and paper hood for our stay
The yard was well maintained and fully fenced which was great for our fog.Suggestions- 1. have blankets available ( each bed only had one light blanket- more would have been good. 2. WiFi was inconsistent which was frustrating 3. Increase supply of shower soap and shampoo. Supply left for 6 people was not enough for our stay.

The house and the detached guest house (casita) had the perfect amenities and environment for our family get together. We enjoyed visiting and viewing ducks, chickens and geese on the porch and at the dock. We rented a boat and explored the lake, took a day trip to Fredericksburg, and enjoyed a local’s favorite, wading at the Llano Slab. Very enjoyable week! Plan to visit again!

The house and furnishings are very nice and everything but the fridge was really clean. The boat dock was great, but we found out on arrival that it would not accomodate our Pontoon Boat. Ad said no boats over 20 ft, but despite ours being only 18 ft, dock is too small. We were not happy with some other features, but being told to tie our boat up in the slew around the corner and expecting my 90 yr old Dad to climb up a steep hill to get back to the house was not acceptable. We felt that we paid for a dock that we were unable to use. In addition, we were provided only 3 wash cloths for 4 people for 5 days, fire place is non functional, only place to grill is down at the dock & inconvenient, & you could barely see to cook in the kitchen at night, as it has only 40 watt bulbs. Despite the nice house and decor, this is not a place we would stay again.

We had a wonderful time at Slice of Heaven. The home is on a beautiful, shaded lot right on the water. Loved the view from the dining table and of course the patio.
Note there are no kitchen essentials such as salt or cooking oil, so be sure to bring those!
Also, the Nest thermostat kept resetting itself down to 50F! Perhaps management needs to reprogram it.
All in all, we enjoyed a fantastic weekend and hope to return soon! Thank you!

The property was in a great location to get to sandy beach areas by boat. The neighborhood boat ramp was a great convenience, we didn't have to travel far to launch. The private boat lift and docking area made for a great time enjoying the waterfront and swimming of the dock all weekend. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable and the home was very welcoming.
