We stayed here for a birthday weekend celebration. The house is gorgeous. It’s in the first floor of a larger home where the owners may be on the top floor. The rental does not have a family room. Just bedrooms and a small kitchen (No oven). It was perfect for what we needed. The deck has a couch/patio set and beautiful gorgeous views. The hot tub is amazing! The only drawback for some might be not having a “family room” with a couch, etc. But it worked fine for our short weekend purpose. We hiked Devils Slide to Tahquiz Peak which is a super short drive from the house. The hike took 4.5 hours total with a stop at the top….Absolutely beautiful views from the hike too! Overall and excellent time and place for a lovely weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Chipmunk lane! Small but clean indoors with an AWESOME balcony and view that we could experience from inside the hot tub. We felt tucked away from the crowd, but it was a fairly easy walk into town, when we wanted it.

Close in to restaurants in Idyllwild but tucked away on a discrete street with spectacular views. A great spot for a quick get away when you want to be lost in the wild but still in reach of a quaint mountain town. We will be back!

Location location location. Beautiful views of the mountains and a beautiful space. Close enough to town to get there quickly but far enough away to feel like you’re in a secluded oasis.

Great location walking distance to town, close yet very private and secluded. The deck and view to Lily rock are amazing. Guest should plan to have vino within arms reach when the setting sun reflects on Lily Rock. Hot tub was great, bump up the temp an hour or so before you jump in if you like it hot. Super comfy beds with private baths for each! We will definitely be back!

Great spot with a short walk to town, all downhill.....except when you come home! Absolutely spectacular view of lily rock and the mountains beyond. The deck is what it is all about. All 3 rooms open up directly to the deck, 2 bathrooms, no wait! Kitchenette does the trick but I would not plan on cooking a turkey. Hot tub is awesome, bump up the temp a hour or so before you take a plunge. Night sky is like the planetarium.....but with a hot tub.
