Destin Pointe - Destin Condo Rentals

The size and layout of the home was perfect for our family of 17! We really enjoyed our stay. We didn't get to use the pool or neighborhood amenities because of the extremely cold weather while we were there.

Very good stay with a few issues. The house was very clean upon arrival except the pool and pool deck. The tree next to the pool drops tons of black berries and there was no broom. The berries get in the pool. We called and were brought a broom thankfully because I used it at least 1-2x daily to push the tree droppings away from the pool. The master bedroom bed was very squeeky. It must need to be tightened. We did not get a good nights sleep. The mattress was strange. Feels like it is worn on the sides. Probably needs replaced. My son did not complain about the queen mattress in the 2nd floor bedroom. We had to have help with the pool heater on two occasions. It shut off. And it takes a about 3 hours to heat up 4-5 degrees. It was cool out during our stay so we needed the heat to swim. Other than that the pool and spa were very nice. The unit was in fairly good shape. I would rent it again. (Hopefully with a new mattress in the master.) The Vacasa handy man that helped us was very responsive. The 800# not so much. If you have an issue and can deal with someone local you will be much happier with the result. Destin Point is a nice neighborhood with access to the bay and ocean. Lovely to walk on the beach there. Good location in the heart of Destin.

The unit is in a great location in the heart of Destin
